We didn't design Kenro in a boardroom. We built it on the shop floor — where grease meets Google Sheets and WhatsApp runs the business.
After 10+ years working in and around the automotive industry — running bays, managing technicians, chasing payments, and dealing with the daily chaos of workshop operations — we realised something important:
The best workshops in the world still run on WhatsApp threads and notebooks. Not because the owners aren't smart — because no software was ever built for them.
Every tool out there was designed for Western markets, enterprise teams, or people with IT budgets. We're building for the guy who opens at 8am, has 4 bays running by 9, and doesn't have time to read a manual.
The independent workshop market in India is a ₹80,000 crore industry — hundreds of thousands of workshops that deserve better tools.
We're not building a side project. We're building the operating system for automotive service businesses — starting with the ones that have been ignored the longest.
Every feature we ship is dogfooded in a live workshop before it goes to anyone else. If it doesn't hold up on the shop floor, it doesn't ship.
